Roger's photography shoot at Jellystone RV Park, Cosby,TN, Oct, 2010
Photos were shot using a Canon 7d camera.
Jellystone Smoky Mountain RV Park. This park is one of the best full service facilities I have ever stayed at.
This is Joanne's high tech tent behind the 5th wheel right next to a beautiful mountain stream.
The 3rd night we had a heavy rain storm at night and the level of the stream went to near flood stage.
David and Joanne were very worried about the water level the night of the storm. I had to get up in the middle of the night to get water out of our awning. I broke Linda's broom lifting the awning to remove the many gallons of water. I goy the awning at a steeper slope the rest of our stay. We had camp fires most nights in this fire ring.
I used my Canon 10 -22 mm lens mounted on the 7D with tripod to take these long exposure shots.
Joanne and David had a huge air bed and an electric heater in their tent.
The leaves really came down the night of the storm.
This creek originates in Smoky Mtn NP. We could walk a 1/2 mile and be on a NP trail. This stream did have to be forded however and the girls would not do it.
I love that furry blooming water.
The water is up to the banks.
I could hear this creek babbling all night long inside the trailer. Very soothing for sleeping.
The park owners had trick or treat for the kids on week ends. They also had live entertainment.
This is Smoky Mtn NP at the Cosby entrance about 8 miles from Jellystone.
Camping was allowed, but with no hook ups.
The trees were so beautiful.
