Roger's trip to Japan Market on Apr 15, 2018 in Kanazawa. Photos were shot with a Fuji X-T2 camera using a Fuji 10mm - 24mm f/4.0 lens, a iPhone 6s camera, or with a DJI Mavic Pro Drone camera mounted on a 3d gimbal.

It is the 15th today and I am on my way to the train station to visit the local market. The subway tunnels had storage spaces for the bike riders.
In the main train station I could not resist stopping in at this French Pastry shop.

Some of these pastries and espresso was my breakfast this morning.

I tasted 3 different pastries Yum YUM.

Got off the loop bus for a walk in this area. All the smaller cities and towns of Japan seemed to have a river running through them.
I was tired of walking and considered hiring one of these rickshaws for a ride to the market.
I could not get him to understand "Market" so I ended up walking about 15 blocks looking for that market.
Finally I reached the market. I think I actually walked 20 blocks.
It was a Saturday and the market was very busy at lunch time.
Some of the cooked fish was quite pricey. 3,000 yen is $30 dollars for one fish.
Every imaginable Terriyaki flavored grilled meat available on a skewer for lunch.
WOW here is fish that cost $48.
Some fresh shrimp at $3.00 each.
Smoked salmon.
Noodles and dried fish for sale here.
They used torches to cook or reheat the fish.
Yellow squash.
The melons in Japan were soo good. Yum Yum
I ended up having 2 of these shrimp and scallop skewers for lunch.
I also had 2 of these Terriyaki beef skewers which were delicious. I also found some fresh cherry ice cream that was excellent.
The train station was actually very close to the market.
It was a short walk.
The train station not only had a French bakery but also a German backery.
Again I had pastries and espresso for another lunch desert.
Cinnamon buns.

These pear croissants were the best. YUM YUM

Walked back to the hotel full and happy after visiting this bakery.
