Photos by Roger Zellmer & Linda Willingham - Yellowstone NP trip 2004 July -

The needles near Tower Falls on the Yellowstone River.
Stage coach rides available near Roosevelt Lodge.
A brown bear feeding on roots about 200 yards from the road.
The goldenrod and fireweed was beautiful.
We decided to take a back dirt road to locate a place to run Meggie dog.
Meggie had a great time on a hillside secluded from the road, running like a mad dog smelling all the critter scents.
The contrasting colors were so beautiful.
Apparently the color is caused by bacteria.
A mound of colored minerals.
Looks like a Mars landscape.
The elk enjoyed the green grass on the park administration grounds
