Roger's photos of Boston, MA 2011 cruise Oct 6, 2011

The finial on top of one of the Quincy Market buildings next to Faneuil Hall the original market place built in 1742.
A famous pizza chain in Boston, this one in Quincy Market.
The food looked really good in Quincy Market.
This was our 2nd time to Boston, but this time on a cruise. We did not do a ship excursion, but instead Linda, Alan, and I took a taxi to Faneuil Hall where we toured Quincy Market and then decided to walk the Freedom Trail north to the Constitution Ship near the end of the trail.
Cooked lobster ready to be consumed in a salad or what ever. yum yum
The old establishments along the trail were so wonderful to see and visit.
A girl practicing her fencing skills at one the parks on the trail.
I gave her a wide berth.
We have arrived in the north Italian district now.
Very Fresh pasta.
To bad we were not hungry yet as this delicatessen looked good.
We could not resist having some of this gelato.
We stopped along the trail and toured his home.
These clinging vines really add ambiance to Paul's house.
On our earlier visit to Boston we had dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The duck confit pasta was to die for.
One of the most famous pastry shops in the world. Most people who dine in the Italian district come here after dinning for their desert.
It all looks yummy.
I had one of these for a snack.

Next we got off the Freedom Trail for a bit and did a short cut through the residential north Italian area.

Many of the residents had Halloween decorations up already.
