Here I am at the Desert Hawks RC Park located in Sera Park Lake Havasu City Arizona. This is their drone and helicopter take off and flying area.
This park is equipped very well with numerous sun shades and carpeted tables to work or fly from.
Parking is no problem here.

I am now in the main flying area. For more information take a look at this url the club web page:

Desert Hawks RC Park

The members are friendly and fly really clean looking planes.
Love all the special safety tables on their long asphalt runway here.
Gas planes are allowed here and many of the member have very AWESOME looking air frames.
Note the gas engine and fuel bottle.
They really keep their planes clean at this club.
Here is a good sized gas plane. Sure is different than electric.
The hills are very scenic in this area. Would be fun to do long distance FPV flying from this airport.
Some of the guys probably arrived here with $30,000 worth of airplanes. Most electric flyer's stayed down when the big gas planes flew.
Many guys had trailers to transport their aircraft.
Loved these runway safety tables with carpet tops.
What a weird contraption this was!
I visited this site approximately every 2 days for the 2 weeks I was in Lake Havasu. This same club also flew water pontoon planes from a site at Rotory Park. A pick up retrieval boat was a provided service. Next time I will definitely bring a water plane.
