Roger & Linda's trip to Lake Havasu in April, 2016. All photos were shot with a Canon 5D mark iii using a Canon lenses; EF24-105 f/4.0.
Sunset part of the cruise.
The temperature in the high 70's with no wind made it a pleasant evening cruise.
Our boat captain did a good job of lining the boat up to place the sun in the crook of these mountains.
The sun going down rapidly.
Sunset just about to subside.
No light yet.
Kicking up a high wake.
This lake does have a charm about it, with the pretty mountains surrounding it.
They have a list of these light houses stating what they are replicas of.
These RV's are on the Island Resort park where my friend Kevin Hartnet's vacation home is located. It is definitely a high end clean park.
I checked on the price for RV sites and they ranged from $85 to $175. Your rig must be in like new condition and be no more than 10 years old. My rig is 11 years old, so I would have to lie to get in here.
I believe this is a public marina called site 6 active for training during WW2.
I am shooting at ISO 3200 F4 1/90 image stabilized lens with my Canon 5d miii. I consider the results quit reasonable considering that I am hand holding the camera on a moving boat.
Lake Havasu City at night. It is a long and narrow city.
Power boat on the move.
Another light house with no light?
Night shot of the London Bridge.
Love the reflections in the water.
Restaurants on the right.
We loved this place and ate here about 5 times. The ribs only $15 on Wednesday nights. Yum Yum. Any red meat is excellent here and the beer is also good.
This high end restaurant owned by the same people is not bad, but I would recommend the previous one. I got a bad bitchy female waiter when I visited, ruining the whole experience.
Our mooring is close to the far left in this photo.
